I haven't made anything for my apartment in a while. Life and other projects have kept me busy. I've wanted to create a terrarium but never found the time or motivation. Sometimes, you just need to wait for the right moment.

I first decided what to use for the terrarium. There are many options, like a glass bowl or a geometric shape. Your choice depends on your aesthetic and available space. Even if I don't have room for a flower arrangement, I still create one and store it in my closet, hoping to display it later.

I ultimately decided to use a geometric triangle for my terrarium, which I obtained from Michael's along with various colors of moss. Additionally, I procured white sand and multi-colored pebbles. Although I knew I wanted succulents, I initially struggled to find suitable options or decide on their appearance. Fortunately, Amazon provided a solution with their terrarium kits. Amazon offers a wide range of items, including a box containing two packets of succulents, which met my expectations. There were sufficient succulents remaining for another project if desired. The pieces of charcoal were also purchased from Amazon.

Putting the terrarium together was enjoyable. I took time to decide on the layout, experimenting with charcoal, sand, and pebbles for the base. I carefully placed the succulents and moss, adjusting their sizes and positions. Once satisfied, I added extra items like a key from another project and a small glass bottle with crystal flecks.

It took a few days to find a spot for it. Instead of keeping it in my closet like other projects, I placed it on the counter. There's a built-in bookshelf near the front door in my apartment. After rearranging some items, I found the perfect place. Completing a creation and seeing the final result is rewarding. I hope to get a bigger space someday to display all my creations. People ask why I make things without space to show them. The simple answer? It makes me happy.
